Terms of Service

These terms cover website builds and monthly care plans provided by FreeBuiltWebs ("we", "us") to you, the business owner ("you"). By applying for or using our services, you agree to them. Plan details on our homepage and in any written agreement we give you are part of these terms.

The service

We design and build a website for your business with no build fee. A paid monthly care plan is required and covers hosting, SSL, backups, security updates, uptime monitoring, support, and the number of simple content update requests included in your plan. Online stores, custom applications, and complex integrations are not included.

Plans and pricing

• Starter: $129/month, up to 5 pages, 1 content update request per month.
• Plus: $149/month, 3 content update requests per month, plus the extras listed on our homepage.
• Premium: $199/month, up to 8 pages, 5 content update requests per month, plus the extras listed on our homepage.

Prices are before applicable tax. Domain registration and renewal are paid separately by you. Unused update requests do not roll over, and we check with you before doing any work beyond your plan.

Billing

Nothing is due when you apply. If you reserve your build, you save a card with Stripe; it is not charged until your website goes live. That first payment covers your first month, and recurring monthly billing starts one month after launch.

Commitment and cancellation

All plans start with a six-month commitment. If you cancel before completing it, the unpaid balance of that commitment becomes due. After the initial six months, service continues month-to-month and you can cancel before your next renewal. Hosting ends at the end of your paid service period. You can upgrade during the initial term; downgrades are available afterward.

Your content and ownership

Your domain stays in your own account, and the text, images, logos, and business information you supply remain yours. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us. Once your six-month commitment is paid, we provide a usable export of your website and available customer data on request, with no exit fee.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use your website for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful. We may suspend a site that puts our hosting, other customers, or the public at risk, and we'll tell you why.

Limits of our responsibility

We work to keep your site fast, secure, and online, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or specific search rankings or sales results. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before a claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your plan, we'll let you know by email before it takes effect.
